They are tremendously playful, yet demonstrate empathy and emotions. Their ability to recognize strangers and familiar faces depicts that they are cognitively complex.
In terms of getting trained, pigs are as smart as popular domestic animals like dogs and sometimes can even outsmart them.
By solving complex mazes and showcasing the ability to use mirrors, pigs have time and again proved their intelligence. The excellent object-location memory makes pigs one of the world’s smartest animals.
